About the Film

On a suburban street, two masked men seize a young woman. They bind and gag her and take her to an abandoned, soundproofed apartment. She is Alice Creed, daughter of a millionaire. Her kidnappers, the coldly efficient Vic and his younger accomplice Danny, have worked out a meticulous plan. But Alice is not going to play the perfect victim – she's not giving in without a fight. In a tense power-play of greed, duplicity and survival we discover that sometimes disappearances can be deceptive. The Disappearance of Alice Creed is a utterly gripping and unpredictable thriller, featuring a mesmerising performance from Gemma Arterton (Casino Royale, Prince of Persia).

Customer Reviews

Good thriller

You would think that a film with only 3 actors and one set would be very stagey. Not so. This is smooth, cool and whips by at pace with a few twists and turns. Recommend.

The Disappearance Of Alice Creed

This film really shouldn't of been as good as it was but it turned out to be a decent british thriller. The three actors do a fine job of keeping the film unnerving and unpredictable, especially Gemma Arterton who was outstanding, and the twists in the film keep you fixated to the screen throughout. The Disappearance of Alice Creed is one of the most gripping british thrillers i have seen in a while.

A truly brilliant movie! A must see
