Plot Summary

The sequel to "Happy Feet," the Academy Award®-winning animated smash hit, "Happy Feet Two" returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's guts and grit as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right.

Fun & Penguins

Mumble and Ramon return to sing and tap-dance their way to the salvation of penguin-kind. This is a fun film that revisits the themes of individuality and self-expression that the original Happy Feet explored so well. It doesn't quite hit that same high note, but it still has some great characters and moments (particularly with Sven, the amazing flying 'penguin'). Will and Bill the krill also provide one of the strangest sub-plots ever, but also steal all the best lines. The whole thing is a wee bit forgettable - not helped by a central plot which mainly involves Mumble staring down at his fellow penguins from the top of a cliff - but enjoyable nonetheless, and the moment where little Eric finds his own way to express himself is great.
