About the Film

Roger Brown is successful, charismatic and always gets what he wants. By day he is an unrivalled corporate headhunter and husband to his beautiful wife Diana, but by night is a prolific art thief with a keen eye for great antiquities. However, Roger’s ambition soon gets the better of him as he is lured into a dangerous game of cat and mouse when he goes after the biggest heist of his life, only to discover his victim is also a skilled headhunter in the most literal sense.

Norweigan with English subtitle

I should have read the information fully beforehand because I didn't realise it wasn't in English. Took a bit of getting used to reading the subtitles but quite a good film, would not watch again though.

Cracking Thriller

A great yarn this. Very well written (I might read some of Nesbo's books now !) characters with amazing plot development.
Don't worry about the subtitling as you will be propelled along. The story of a headhunter who is an art thief may sound hard to believe, but go with it. I've not enjoyed a thriller like this in a while. You don't know the actors so you can't predict the outcome. So watcheable. Brilliantly acted and directed. Move over Hollywood with your tired predictable thrillers - Scandinavia rules !!

Gripping and nicely plotted

Great drama - exciting and very dark in places but with bursts of comedy, from wry humour to rather grim knockabout farce. The characters are well drawn, if you buy the initial premise, and develop through the film. Some episodes are unbearably tense, and you may have to look away if you're squeamish. A cracker of a plot as well - you may think you've been told what's going on, but there are still some surprises, and as with all the best movies there are references early on which matter later, and a few sly allusions to other films slipped in. Watch for the Psycho violins. I thoroughly approve of subtitles - they are much less distracting than dubbing, and it's worthwhile paying attention at all times - some things happen very quickly.
Watch and enjoy.
