KV

I don't usually write reviews, however, I'll make an exception. It is simply one of the best films I have ever seen and certainly one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made (Up there with 2001 A Space Odyessy). Matthew McConaughey was superb and enthralling. The cinematgraphy, the visuals and effects, the acting , flow of the film was all on point. Above all, the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer is a genius.

I throughly recommend it to those that haven't seen it. However, make sure you go into this film with some prior knowledge of Outer space and facts in general. It'll certainly make you think.

Visually Beautiful, Speechless, Gripping and Mind-Blowing.

Those five words are the best way to describe this film. The films stronger points was the story, it was able to do a good job in explaining the plot and the purpose behind it. Although it something can get a bit confusing and you'll need someone to help explain it to you or watch it again in order to understand it. It's very sciencetific as well which I liked.

But you could just ignore it and admire its beautiful visual effect while there in space, but the amount of detailing that went into it as well. You know its CG, but it looks so real and believable, that you may not notice it at all.

Hans Zimmer's musical score is amazingly fantastic. I loved the way the organ interacted with the theme of being in outer space. It's quite sci-fi, appropriate with its theme, dark at times, tense and in quite emotional, especially the ending.

The scripting was fine offering a few funny lines was good, although there were some moments in the film where the line doesn't quite make a bit of since. Plus Matthew Mcconaughey is a good actor but mumble when he's speaking, few times I notice it but that didn't worry me too much.

Admittedly the sound from Hans music was a bit too loud and you couldn't understand what Matthew said in one part of the film.

The rest of the cast were excellent, there were some actor that offer a surprising moment that will lead you to thinking "since when were they supposed to be in this film?".

Christopher Nolan's film is well directed, with great acting, amazing visual effects and musical score, and just everything a sci-fi film needs.

A Masterpiece

This film is a masterpiece. Fact.
I've never revisited the cinema to watch a film more than once, Until 2014.
I saw this FOUR (4) times at the IMAX.
I'm 35 years old.
