Customer Reviews

Good but not excellent

The entire film seemed rushed through the parts that should have had the most impact- the scenes between rochester and jane. Jamie Bell was awesome as always, Michael Fassbender's Rochester seemed unhinged and at time i found it very difficult to believe that a 19 year old girl would find him attractive. The cinematography was beautiful.

Intelligent and moving

Leaves the viewer teary eyed and contemplative. Exceptionally well shot with outstanding portrayals from each actor... I couldn't have wished to spend my evening watching a better film than this. Outstanding!

lovely

Mia really played Jane Eyre so well, just as it described in the book. Mr Rochester is meant to be ugly but I love
Michael Fassbender in this, I think he played Rochester very well!! Having read the book, you do tend to picture
some scenes differently and I was quite disappointed that not all scenes from the boook were included in the
film but they adapted it beautifully! The dialoge was verbatim with the book and it's just lovely. My favourite adaptation
of the book by far!!!
