Plot Summary

In the romantic comedy "Life as We Know It," Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) is an up-and-coming restaurateur and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous blind date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Messer are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they'll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.

Customer Reviews

truly great film

this film is great, it shows how hard being a parent is and Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel portray this very well. I wasn't bored once during the film. I thought the storyline was brilliant and the actors were great. And you cannot help but fall in love with the little toddler in the film. It's just such a sweet film and it has some very comic moments. I recommend it for all

Boring !

I hate to be the lone dissenting voice here, but my wife and I hated this film.
It is boring and predictable. The characters are never well developed so by the end of the film you just don't care anymore you just want it to be over. They missed an opportunity with the neighbours. Some of those characters could have been funny but they're never really used. Comes across as a script written by committee with no individuality to it.

Looking at the rest of the reviews I'm obviously alone in this view but you have been warned!!
