Customer Reviews

Stunning visuals, inspiring storyline and a momentous achievement for director Ang Lee. At face value, it is a story of a boy stranded at sea, yet it reveals itself to be a tale of someone questioning their beliefs and truly coming to terms with what religion is all about. One of the most audacious films of the year so far and a great eye opener. Highly recommended.

Thought was a Beautiful Film!

Beautiful effects, and mesmerising story!

A sure watch! Would highly recommend!

Life of Pi

We really enjoyed the film although there were many omissions from the novel. Indeed, I would suggest reading the book first as this will greatly enhance your enjoyment and understanding. I can understand people who have not read it prior to watching not getting the meaning of the movie. The book explores Pi's flirtations with religion in much more detail. A classic film and novel. One for future English Literature students. Beats blooming Shakespeare!
