Plot Summary

In his highly acclaimed novel Never Let Me Go, Kazuo Ishiguro (The Remains of the Day) created a remarkable story of love, loss and hidden truths. Kathy (Oscar® nominee Carey Mulligan, An Education), Tommy (Andrew Garfield, Boy A, Red Riding) and Ruth (Oscar® nominee Keira Knightley, Pride & Prejudice, Atonement) live in a world and a time that feel familiar to us, but are not quite like anything we know. They spend their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. When they leave the shelter of the school and the terrible truth of their fate is revealed to them, they must also confront the deep feelings of love, jealousy and betrayal that threaten to pull them apart.

Never let this go!

An odd but heartbreaking novel, turned into an honest and thought provoking film. Terrific!

weird

weird and almost very depressing...you almost want there to be a happy ending...but there is not. Its heart breaking, and reminds you that we are all only human. Its frustarting as you want the characters to put up a fight for what they were unknowingly thrown into as a child. Its almost cruel. I think its a film to see, yet myself i dont think id watch it again...almost every character doesnt crack a smile through out the entire movie. The director, the actors, the novel...brilliant story, and must have taken quite some imagination...a depressive imagination. the three main actors, even the actors who play them as children, gave amazing performances.
