About the Film

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite as sci-fi geeks taking a pilgrimage to America’s UFO heartland. There they meet a smart-ass alien, Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen), who takes them on an insane road trip. As they struggle to return Paul home, the little green man might just take the outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes. From the director of Superbad, Greg Mottola, and with a stellar supporting cast including Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Joe Lo Truglio, Jane Lynch and Sigourney Weaver, Paul is a must-own comedy adventure not to be missed!

Best Alien Based Comedy So Far of 2011

Funny, clever, awesome cast, what more could you want? Simon Pegg and Nick Frost play the perfect comic book geeks and Seth Rogen is the perfect voice for Paul. One of the best films I've seen this year.

Everyone is going to be watching this film expecting non-stop laughs just like Shaun of the Dead and/or Hot Fuzz, and yes, it is funny, but no, it probably isn't as good as either of those films, but still, it's fantastic.

Shaun and Fuzz were two outstanding films, and "Paul" on its own, is an excellent comedy, with aspects for anyone. Surprisingly too, there is a fair amount of action to keep the story flowing too. Paul is an enjoyable, mildly crude comedy for teenagers and onwards!

Great fun, Paul the character is just excellent, the sci fi in jokes are brilliant from the obvious Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters, Aliens etc right down to Indiana Jones :) You can tell this film was made by the actors inner child and passion for sci fi. Loved every minute :)
