About the Film

Laughs abound when a no-nonsense LAPD detective (Academy Award-winner Robert De Niro - "The Good Shepard," "City by the Sea") is forced to star in a reality-based television show with a showboating patrolman and frustrated wannabe-actor (Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominee Eddie Murphy - "Dreamgirls," "Norbit") in an effort to boost the department's public image and morale. They soon find their lives turned upside-down by the show's powerhouse producer (Rene Russo -- "The Thomas Crown Affair," "Lethal Weapon" 3 and 4) and her very intrusive camera crew! Also starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner William Shatner (TV's "Boston Legal," "Miss Congeniality") and Alex Borstein ("Good Night, and Good Luck," "Catwoman").

Customer Reviews

I'm reluctant to give this one star.

This film has my favourite actor of all time (deniro ) and Eddie Murphy who a major comedy talent has made some very bad films since Coming to America. The most difficult things to understand about this movie is how they managed to get Deniro and Murphy together in such a terrible film and even more worrying is why they chose to be in this film when they could have looked at better material elsewhere. Although I have given this one star I mean No stars.
