About the Film

First there was an opportunity... then there was a betrayal. Twenty years have gone by. Much has changed but just as much remains the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever call home. They are waiting for him: Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). Other old friends are waiting too: sorrow, loss, joy, vengeance, hatred, friendship, love, longing, fear, regret, diamorphine, self-destruction and mortal danger, they are all lined up to welcome him, ready to join the dance.

Customer Reviews

A great sequel.

This is a great sequel to the original. So much could have gone wrong in the making, but it didn't. A good and believable storyline about characters we've waited twenty years to see how they got on. Fine acting by all the main players, who slotted back into the roles like they'd never been away. Not as harsh and uncompromising as the original, because back then we'd not seen anything like that before on screen, and perhaps we're now used to seeing it, but it's still good.

Extremely poor.

Poor show

Disappointed and thought it would be better than it was. Shame and waste if £13.99 😡
