Absolutely phenomenal
Shot from the perspective of the Afghan National Army, Tell Spring Not to Come This Year gives an glimpse into the daily lives of an often talked about but rarely understood group of soldiers, painting a very human picture of their struggle to keep Afghanistan out of Taliban control. It is beautifully shot, thoughtfully paced and extremely compelling. Despite the intimacy of the subject matter, it also has a poignant message about the Western involvement in Afghanistan.
This could well be best war documentary I've ever seen, certainly the best documentary I've seen about the ongoing war in Afghanistan. More people need to watch this.
