About the Film

Accepted for his fast mouth and sense of humor, Dom soon becomes one the boys. But as Bex and his ICF gang clash with rival firms across the country and the violence spirals out of control, Dom realizes he wants out - until he learns it's not that easy to simply walk away.
I thought it was a really funny, and really accurate representation of 80's life.
Highly recommend it!
Remakes are supposed to be better, not catastrophically worse
I'll echo just what everyone else is saying, it is a terrible remake, one that does no justice to the original, To say that it was an accurate representation of the 80's is a lie because noone in the 80's wore everything that was represented in the films and do you know why? little companies such as Fila, Ellesse and Adidas sponsored the film and gave them alot of money and made them costumes especially for the film. The acting was tragic to say the least, I do like Nick Love films but having characters swear constantly is almost his way of recreating fear and its getting old. I was really looking forward to this film and was let down by all of it, The Acting, The Production design (wasn't too bad since there are alot of council houses that are from the 80's) The Direction, the best part - the soundtrack although that couldn't have disappointed, it had the roots already there and to be honest, this film didn't really need to be remade or at least if it was, it should have been better and had actors that can actually 'act'. Nick Love films now are all the same, if i had to sum him up - hooligan + swearing, done.
Waste of money
Just spent £10.99 on the worst remake of a film I have ever seen. If you are a fan of the original - i urge you to save your money - Gary Oldman gave a world class performance in the original, indeed so did the other cast members - this lot are a huge dissapointment.
Not sure what Nick Love has done to the story, it doesn't flow and it just feels weak from start to finish - its trying to be cool but you can't hold a film to together by referencing some Adidas originals, Borg Elites and a load of Fila bjs. Might have got away with it if he had followed the original story and cast Tamer Hussan as the Yeti, but trying to improve on a classic was never, ever going to work.
Just don't bother, you will regret it.
