I first saw this film at Screentest student film festival in Bristol - completely changed the way I see student filmmaking! Even against its competition, which was admittedly tough that year, it has raised the bar significantly for years to come. A true achievement.
I'm afraid of the water sprite...
The contrast between the darkness of the story and the natural beauty of the visuals really makes this film become something special. This isn't so much a student film as much as it is a professional film made by professionals who just so happened to be students at the time. It really shows what one can achieve when you really believe in something. Awesome.
