One of my favorite videos
The video reflects Natasha's personality very well. The scenery is natural, rural and old fashioned. Her eclectic style is very apparent throughout where she looked beautiful and stylish then, just as she does to this date.
The song itself is fresh, modern and different but has a strong solid meaning and the theme of love is tied in at the end.
This video's primary aim was to portray Natasha in the light that describes her as a person. She seems to be a perfectionist and whilst enjoying life finds it hard to express herself in a world where success is celebrated and desired by almost every individual. Every love song released seems to be better than what she writes, (a view which I'm sure all of us Natasha fans disagree with).
Therefore, she travels aroud looking for inspiration wherever she can and even though she enjoys her travels, she feels frustrated in terms of what to write and how best to go about expressing herself. The ending just shows how easy life would be if we could just grab people we'd love to reach out to splash them with water to wake them up and tell them that we LOVE THEM!
So easy to relate to and the video is totally uplifting, bound to but a smile on your face and definitely deserving of five stars.
