Let's be honest, the song in itself is nothing like any other Muse song. Even it's RNB predessecor Supermassive Black Hole had a much more rock influence in it than this. I mean, Hell, Matt doesn't even play guitar in this song!

But like every Muse song, this is still a great song, great lyrics, great tune, and the slap bass? Chris, we didn't know you could do it, and you can!

Then again, that's just the song. I'm afraid the music video itself is, for me, awful to watch. For the most part, everything in the video is great, Matt, Dom and Chris all do their part well and look great doing it, the set is fantasic and the bits and bobs keep that Muse-esque feel. But that God awful dancer...

She completely ruins it. She is what takes the video and song in a whole other direction that I don't want such a great alt-prog-rock band to go down. What on Earth was the director thinking!? I don't see the appeal at all. The dancer is not only, not even that interesting, but she seems smug, and has an arrogance about her that unnerves me.

I dunno, if it wasn't for the dancer, this'd be a 5 star vid, but otherwise, don't bother with it. Muse have never been a band for their great music videos. Save your money for a live video from their HAARP album. Knights of Cydonia, Take a Bow, Map of the Problematique and Stockholm Syndrome are particularly good!

This Song Is Amazing And The Music Video Is A Bit Weird But So Amazing Please Buy <3 It Lol

This is probarly my favourite MUSE video, it reminds me of supermassive black hole...its got that eerie, cool, randomness to it which is just typically muse. I LOVE the song! the lyrics are really beautiful and the drum and bass is fantastic. So its not as rock and roll as their other songs, so what, this song just showcases their ability to adapt and explore their range! The video totally compliments the song and is well executed. The dancer is also brilliant, shes not exploited like most music videos now. Her talent is gives the video that extra edge and also makes it more haunting Muse are able to deliever consistant, brilliant videos that remind us that music is an art form!!

Muse's fusion of progressive rock, electronica, and Radiohead-influenced experimentation have helped them sell millions of records and top charts worldwide. It's all crafted by guitarist/vocalist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dominic Howard, a trio of friends who began playing music together in their hometown of Teignmouth, Devon; they started the first incarnation of the band at the age of 13, changing the name of the group from Gothic Plague to Fixed Penalty to Rocket...
