Welcome to Ctrl Alt Delete! I'm Emma Gannon and this is my podcast. It's been nominated for a WEBBY, been recommended by Sunday Times 'top 50 podcasts', voted one of the '30 best podcasts for curious minds' by WIRED magazine and selected in 'best podcasts of 2017' by ESQUIRE. I interview people I admire about the themes in my first book Ctrl Alt Delete, such as creativity, work, wellbeing, the internet, social media, feminism, identity, mental health, careers and everything in between.  Past guests include Lena Dunham, Gillian Anderson, Liz Gilbert, Alice Levine, Zoella, June Sarpong, Dawn O'Porter, Rowan Blanchard, Will Young and Mara Wilson. I hope you enjoy the chats!

Easy listen but nothing groundbreaking.

This podcast is easy to listen to just when you need something to fill your time. Some of the interviews I really like and others I don't care for at all, but generally they're all quite similar. I've been listening for a while and I have one key point of constructive criticism. 1. The guests are mostly white, middle-class women and I think breaking away from this would make the interviews more diverse/less monotonous. Other than that it is nice to listen to and my rating would be a 3.5 if I could give that. I have given it 4 instead of a 3 because I don't want to write it off and appreciate the time and effort put into it.

Always excited for the next one!

These blogs are great fun. You never know who's going to be on next or what you're going to learn. Emma creates a comfortable environment, not only for the interviewee to open up, but for the listener to feel engaged also. Emma has inspiring people skills and is definitely one of my top choices for the question 'if you could have dinner with anyone in the world: past or present, who would it be?'. Keep up the fab work Emma!

The perfect podcast for your Monday commute to work, Sunday afternoon baking or just chilling out on the tube 👏🏻inspirational women (and the occasional man!) talking openly about their careers, the benefits of always being yourself and the importance of hard work. I'd recommend this to anyone who's thinking of starting their own business, wants to feel inspired or just wants something good to listen to on their way into work.
