Critical Hit!

A great group of players, some experienced, some novice, who approach the game with a joyful irreverence all held together by Alexander J Newall's Clive Anderson-esque ringmastery as GM. All players are naturally funny and very charming, and having heard the first (or should that be zeroth) podcast of the series i cant wait to hear more. Much love and keep going

A fun RPG romp in a cool setting

I'll admit that when I was first recommended this, I was slightly wary. Pathfinder isn't my favourite system - lots of dice rolling. But the world they're playing in and the interplay between the characters is really good.

James Ross does a great job in his first RPG game, playing an upper class twit with aplomb. Lydia Nicholas brings a fresh energy, and asks many of the questions I would be asking in the game. Ben Meredith's Somerset accent is plausible, and his decision to play a one-legged dwarf who runs into crates at top speed is brilliant. Bryn Monroe comes with a wealth of experience with the game - I'm looking forward to seeing his character develop in future episodes. And Alexander Newall marshalls them all extremely well, telling an interesting and original story.

So, yeah, check it out. :)

What really strikes me about this podcast is how it has hit the ground running. Everything from production values to how natural the presenters sound on mic make the podcast feel like something that's been running for years and years. It's professional, polished and full of energy.

I really enjoyed the mix of presenters. I found it useful that someone was there to ask the dumb questions that I was thinking myself - and someone was able to provide an eloquent and accurate answer!

The podcast is funny and entertaining. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with a passing interest in roleplaying.
