Ouch, interesting chat but awful audio
I’m listening to the top five games for beginners episode. The chat is fine, but the audio set-up is dreadful. I’m not enough of an audio engineer to guess exactly what’s wrong, but I’m guessing it’s recorded over an internet chat protocol with heavy compression. If so, I’d recommend each participant sets themselves up with a decent mic, and records a separate audio track which can be mixed together.
Sadly, this sounds like I’m listening in to a teleconference at work. Which I do too much of at work, and so ... here I am, maybe 20 minutes in, and I’m bored already.
