‘At Home With…’ is the podcast series that’s part ‘Through The Keyhole' and part having a good ol’ catch-up on the sofa with your mates, brought to you by online content creators Lily Pebbles and Anna Newton. The two seasons of their chart-topping podcast see them interview a whole bevy of guests in the comfort of their own home; from trying Kombucha homemade by beauty industry royalty Liz Earle in her kitchen, to delving into Jo Elvin’s wardrobe - they really get stuck in. Want to hear them talk to cool women, who are doing cool s**t? Join them ‘At Home With…'

Loved it til the end

I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed (and I feel oddly betrayed) that they chose Zoe Sugg as the last guest. I really thought they had better taste. I know that they're both signed with Gleam, but they had such a fantastic, high achieving, intelligent, and inspirational selection of women on this podcast, and then Zoe. She didn't even decorate her own house, nor has she achieved a whole lot (I mean, compared to Lisa Frickin' Eldrig and By Terry??). I loved the whole podcast, and now I'm left feeling like Anna and Lily were pandering to team Gleam, and it confirms the feeling that I've had all along that they should have used a different platform than "Gleam Futures" on Itunes. I really love both Anna and Lily, but now I'm put off of all of their content, because are they just becoming another Gleam featurette to pander to Zoella?

Good start but improvements needed (constructive criticism)

I've listened to 4 of these so I feel like I'm in the position to now write a review.
Sound: I echo what everyone says about the sound needing significant improvement. Surely it can be adjusted in post-production?

Content: I agree with some of the other comments that sometimes it dissolves into self-indulgent girly-talk. Better editing? For instance with the Cult Beauty founder I feel they barely scratched the surface of her business acumen and spent too much time on insider gossip which the audience can't relate to.

Interview Skills: similar to above I feel that they have quite a bit to learn on how to effectively interview someone. I think Lily tries to keep things on track. I like Anna's style on her YouTube channel, but I feel that she veers off on tangents that don't add anything to the interview. I suggest they continue to study the great interviewers to hone their skills. I think Kirsty Young from Desert Island discs is able to keep her interviews informal and warm, but professional and insightful.

I love this, I didn't expect to like it all that much but its so good! :)
