DRT is back!!

Daniel Ruiz Tizon is back with his nasal tones with another podcast. This time he sounds energised rather than worn down as he details the minutiae of the minefield that is modern life in London. He seems more upbeat and more accepting of his foibles but is no less funny as he squirms and complains his way through anecdotes and stories about his past and present. This is a highly individual, personal podcast in which Daniel emerges as a likeable curmudgeon-to-be, bewailing the follies of society and being honest about his own shortcomings. You get to know him very well, very quickly - I look forward to this becoming a weekly audience with one of the internet's funniest commentators.

Shoulders back, podcast towards the sun.

Obsessive compulsive diarist Daniel Ruiz Tizon has been intermittently available for 150 episodes. While I’ve only taken Daniel up on his availability since the summer of 2016, his twice-weekly dispatches from the other side of the mid-life crisis have quickly become a podcasting highlight.

Daniel carefully logs and generously shares events from his current week, and also opens the occasional door into his personal history, to illustrate how the changing face of South West London and his own changing face struggle to coexist with each other. The podcast provides particular comfort to those of us who feel awkward amongst extroverts, modern pretensions and plain nonsense. His penchant for detail, along with a dryness of humour that only life in Britain can produce, elevates the material above a simple recounting of things which have happened. It’s a warm bath in the experience of someone who, despite challenge and despite change, continues to do his best; even when his best wasn’t the best he was hoping for. I think many of us can share that feeling, and this podcast is a perfect place to do just that.

He's back and very much available...

A massively underrated podcast. A comical view on what's going on around him during the week and through out life in general, saying out loud pretty much what we all think whilst observing strangers, random passers by and life's events in general.

Great tweets too @1607WestEgg
