As a working pro / filmmaker I find this podcast as equally informative as it is entertaining.

The hosts Chris and Alex come across as very relaxed and the show has very little in the way of bells or whistles. Basically it is like being down the pub having a chat with a couple of mates, except that they live in San Francisco rather than down the road!

I love Chris' old man stories and Alex is a perfect foil for him. Occasionally they like to geek out, but normally they have a great interview as a central focus to the show. I'm up to episode 31 and so far they have had producers, directors, DP's, editors, filmmakers, techno geeks and even clients on as guests.

A really excellent podcast, or in the words of Chris - it's awesome!

Another great Digital Film Podcast!

I was quite sad to hear that the Digital Convergence Podcast was to end, after just having discovered it. The good news is that Chris Fenwick and Alex MacLean decided to start the Digital Cinema Cafe which provides an entertaining and educational conversation with filmmaking guests. I have listened to every episode up to DCC020, and the hosts are definitely becoming more comfortable with each show.

I like how the DCC has a wide variety of guests (directors, producers, editors, educators, etc.) and focuses on the backstories and the craft rather than just the gear (which gets outdated fast and can usually be found out elsewhere).

Please keep up the good work, and hopefully your audience continues to grow!

P.S. I am liking the DCC Spinoff too - FCPX Grill. Thanks for all the hard podcasting work.

Love this

Great Podcast it makes me happy in the pants. I work as a Colourist/Online editor and put this on while I grade. Nice little chats and I like when they nerd out on hard drives etc. Keep up the good work!
