Oldies are goldies

As an older woman I surprise myself by really enjoying this podcast. I find myself becoming interested in things I’d never imagined. Can you provide activities and exercises for people to do at home rather than in the gym? Go girls! Go oldies!!

Appalling. Don’t waste your time.

I love the radio and listen all the time - mainly sport (football, boxing, football) as well as lifestyle, current affairs ie everything. I love listening to people and their lives, stories and advice. This was appalling. I wanted to like it - women advising others on how to be healthy and live their lives to the full. This was AWFUL. Puerile discussion, nauseating, ridiculous, childlike. Hated it. Please don’t put this nonsense in 5live again.

LOVED THIS EPISODE!!

I’ve recently joined a new gym. One of trainers told me how they’d talk to me about calorie deficit and energy balance and how just reducing my portion size will make a big difference. Because of my size, he assumed I’d never set foot in a gym before. Because he didn’t ask, he didn’t know I could squat more than his body weight and deadlift more than my own and that I’ve already lost over a stone through calorie deficit!
