I have decided to make some major changes to the podcast. Due to limited amount of time available to work on podcasts, I have decided to streamline the podcast a bit. The Heavy Fucking History segment will continue along with a new segment called the Molten Metal Timeline. Segments that will be eliminated are the Molten Metal News and Molten Metal Reviews. Of course the music will continue (with more songs each episode). 
 
This episode features 1986 as the year for the Molten Metal Timeline segment and we will continue discussing the history of heavy metal.

This is the first episode of the Harder than Rock Podcast. This podcast is replacing my Cryptid Crypt Podcast.  This Podcast is dedicated to Heavy Metal and Hard Rock News, History, music/concert/DVD reviews, events, and most anything that is harder than rock. I will play some good hard ass music. It may be a bit eclectic, but it will be heavy. I’m going to play around with some of the songs, mix them up a bit, shorten them; lengthening, or mixing and/or combining songs…it should be fun!
 
This episode will feature Molten Metal News (The Death of Nick Menza, Ex-Slayer Drummer Dave Lombardo, the upcoming new album from Testament, and the upcoming new EP from The Ghost). The podcast will also feature, Hot or Not: Molten Metal Reviews (Metal Church’s new album XI) and Heavy Fucking History (Black Sabbath and the birth of Heavy Metal).
