Perfect Sounds for Strange Minds

Utterly unique. Not to be missed. Simply the best podcast for those that like stories and explorations into all that is weird and truly interesting. Mind expanding - theory broadening - prepare to suspend your disbelief for long enough to dive into perfectly crafted little worlds of sound. Stunningly narrated, edited and finished, they capture and subsume but finally you come out the other side refreshed, energised, excited, realising that it wasn’t so unreal after all, it’s the same world you live in now. So you go on with your week with fresh eyes and ears and brains, waiting for the next episode.. desperate to share what you just learned and felt.

Surreal, intimate, vulnerable and mesmerising. The way Jeff Emtman manages to paint characters and the interiors of a stranger’s mind alongside Bethany Denton’s ability to bring a small notion into a sprawling sonic landscape captures me in a way very few audio pieces do. A carefully crafted thing done very well.

Liverpool, England.
