Impaired by shocking sound quality

I was really looking forward to listening to Prof Ian Kershaw; I studied from a number of his books during my 'A' Level History years. The sound of the whole podcast was awful; clearly Prof Kershaw was interviewed over the telephone and this really doens't make for great listening. Even the introduction is poor, with the speaker (the editor of the History magazine) unable to stay either close to the microphone or away from it. A shame, could be a very interesting and insightful podcast to listen to, but it was just painful. Stick with reading the magazine, which is brilliant.

Sound Quality is Good

I thought that this was very good and did not think the sound quality was poor. Many podcasts interview over the telephone and this one does it well. Content is good and reasonably thought provoking.

Look forward to more...

Sound quality seems fine to me, very interesting interview with Ian Kershaw with the presenter asking some good questions.
