Description

Glen Scrivener, full time Evangelist for 'Speak Life' discusses issues regarding sharing the good news about Jesus. Each episode takes a different aspect of Evangelism, and looks at it in depth. Also, we have interviews with inspiring evangelists such as Roger Carswell, Bill McKeever and Jay Smith, as well as Jesus centred teachers and authors. See what others have to say about TEP: ***** "Your Christ-centered approach and how He shapes everything and how the trinity shapes the gospel (what I get is Jesus) has been eye-opening for me. i am indebted to you! Thank you!" - Duane Seaberg ***** Entertaining and Educational "I stumbled across this looking for something else and it caught my eye so I downloaded a few and I absolutely love it. Great practical conversation about sharing our faith. Keep it up guys!!!" - BeardedYoung ***** So Helpful "Thanks for doing this podcast guys, I have taken so many notes and have a lot more answers and analogies to use when talking to people. (321 included!) I enjoyed the Hot Topics podcasts and hope for more like this! The interviews are also great!" - Cdoney77 ***** Equipping, Engaging and Excellent "Some fantastic stuff here folks! Really interesting and well worth listening to for some thought-provoking-question-asking material. A great resource for current Christian content and brings us up to date with what is happening in different ministries in Christianity. Dipped in - Enjoyed what I found

I’ve only listened to a few episodes when they’ve lined up with topics/themes I’ve had an interest in - so far not disappointed at all! That is to say I’ve found it stretching and enjoyable. Keep it up gang

Great Cultural Analysis

This podcast is great for disecting current culture in the west. A great blend of truth and humoour.

Excellent

Wonderfully uplifting Christian encouragement for all those who believe and a good example of describing a Christian world view!
On your recent podcast on racism you made the very apt point that a Christian cannot be racist! Great point. However on the subject of Charlottesville you missed the opportunity to mention that General Lee was actually opposed to slavery. The historical reason for the civil war was not slavery at all but was a much drawn out trade dispute.
As a Brit who has lived in the USA I can inform you that I have experienced racism from both black and white peoples in North Carolina. Trump was right to say that both sides are to blame. If I could bring all of the people from America to London to show them how good it can be when people from all countries and representatives of all of all colours and communities come together in friendship I would do so. When I get my Green card and my bachelorette in theology I fully intend to preach a Gospel of inclusivity.
This all tracks back to the response from the Democrats and the Republicans to the third party the popularists who were black and white farmers that formed a political party after slavery was banned. Segregation was brought into law and then white and black farmers were not buying beers for each other and talking anymore.
