Laurie and Eleanor Penny have a lot in common. A love of politics, feminism, fiction and philosophy. An obsession with Blackadder, Rocky Horror and red pandas. Oh, and — parents. Each week they’ll unpick one controversial idea in the modern political conversation. This is the secret feminist agenda for world domination that the internet warned you about.

Customer Reviews

Funny and eye-opening

Middle-class white dudes like me need podcasts like this: highly illuminating, very funny, inspirational. Shame there are only six episodes, but they’re all great.

Love this show

Intelligent, funny, personable, knowledgeable and interesting discussions.

Seven Sisters (okay just two...)

Greatly enjoyable. I learned a lot about feminist thought and a surprising amount about which My Little Pony is the coolest.
It is funny how a discussion on transgender rights can suddenly descend into unresolved issues from childhood but clearly with a great deal of affection between the two of them. I hope your mum listens!
