Girls who know their games

The podcast has a good flow to it, all the hosts seem to get on well together and have a good knowledge of the subject (as they should since they work for IGN). I've been listening to IGN's podcast output for a while now and think that this has the potential to be just as good as anything else the company has released, It's especially nice to get an all female perspective on what is still a male dominated industry.

I would like to see this podcast to be added to the IGN Games Podcasts subscription feed, it would definitely add to what is already a diverse and entertaining collection of shows.

So Far?....Meh

A sigh of relief was released when i heard the ladies of IGN were doing a podcast. Some of the IGN podcasts (mainly the IGN UK) run off topic quickly and resort to boring teenage boy humour and toilet i had high hopes. Its not a bad podcast but there are some creases to be ironed out, the girls have a tendency to talk over each other (Chobot interrupts constantly) which gets annoying pretty quickly. But most frustrating and i think this may be a lack of pre-planning is when the girls have a solid topic to discuss they such as in Ep 2 and 3 they dont debate it all. Instead you just hear a lot of "OMG what a jerk" and "gggggggrrrr this makes me so mad!"
Also they fell into the trap of what anyone might jokingly expect a female games podcast to discuss....what game characters they think are "hawt" and which they would date and worst of all the podcast motto is "Boobies". come on girls, really? i know its supposed to be fun but thats not what defines you, right? isnt that the mold you are trying to break?

Great Start

Was very impressed with their organisation for the pilot episode, but i suppose they did just follow the cookie-cutter build for all of the ign podcasts. A very rarely seen angle on the industry, hope it becomes a regular feature.
