Now even bigger!
This episode 2 is very good for me, as it is 15 minutes 11 seconds longer than first episode, which I enjoyed very much.
I like the conversations about Stuart Lee, he is very forward thinking comic, but I do not understand who Stuart Maconie is. Upon researching him I discover he is a radio DJ but I do not see anything regarding opinions for cash. Perhaps this is humour for the listener, I suspect not intended as libel.
I wish I could see Charles Wheeler at his wrestling, I would love to see him try the hot butter slide (I love this description from Dan, very funny, very appropriate). They talk much about wrestling, which I enjoy and would not defenestrate anybody for!
I think Charles also raises good points of British politics, are northern Irish British? Of course.
This show is quite serious in tone from here on, much talk of crediting of ideas etc. which I think is missed opportunity for humour, there is such talk of administrative decisions regarding the podcast, such as episode numbering, podcast listings, and potential guests.
I do like the astrophysics discussion, however destination of a vessel launched to the moon depends greatly upon variables such as vessel’s velocity, proximity of vector to moon’s mass/gravity field, ability to thrust vector etc. Is also likely that in the event of missing the moon, one would not remain a constant distance from the sun, but engage in elliptical orbit meaning that over time, distance between vessel and sun would change.
I liked the show but I really disliked everything about David Anthony Wood. I feel like he ruined not just this episode but the whole concept of podcasts and people talking together and stuff.
Ugh..his accent YUCK
A wonderful podcast. Always entertaining, always comforting, always a good amount of silliness.
