Not narrating a kids book?

The narration is more to the style of the hungry caterpillar. She talks to the listener as if they were a small child. Very irritating. Could be a good story but it's just told badly.

What was the presenter thinking?!

So exciting to see something in the genre from the UK instead of all the US podcasts I listen to. I would love to have recommended this to "Crime writers On" but I know just what they will think. Same as me. TERRIBLE presentation! Just because podcasts are new to you, keep in mind that the rest of us have listened to hundreds of hours and are not stupid. Why the Blue Peter presentation style? Beyond belief!

Intruiging but bad presenting

I'm really trying to get into this, as the story is great- but as the presenter sounds like she's from CBBC talking to children, I'm struggling to continue.
