Kaijucast is a Godzilla-related podcast where giant Japanese monsters (aka Kaiju) take center stage. Aside from the standard podcast banter, host and hardcore Godzilla-fan Kyle Yount shares his favorite music and audio clips from the films, reports news and interviews special guests in this bi-monthly podcast. To reduce server load, the feed has been reduced to the 20 most recent episodes, but all are available for download at

Got Zilla?

A humorous, appealing and slightly nerdy romp through Japanese monster cinema, centred around a group of newly inducted friends' reviews of random films from the past 50 years and interspersed with the awesome, eerie music from the film's soundtracks. A good listen for newbies or lifelong fans.

Kaiju? Gesundheit.

On an ocean littered with the wrecks of podcasts that set sail with good intentions but sank when interest was lost, Kaijucast remains a flagship of just how good a podcast can be.

The genre may not be for everyone (ask my better half), but a great podcast transcends these constraints and becomes distinguished in it's own right. This is where the Kaijucast sits. Entertaining without alienating and yet never forgetting it's core audience, a rare achievement in the over crowded world of podcasting.

Simply put, Kaijucast is an essential listen in my podcast library and can't be recommended enough. Listen, enjoy, learn to say 'RAWR'.
