Customer Reviews

Thought provoking, entertaining and perfectly balanced.

Ken & Robin talk about stuff joins up two seriously talented creatives, resulting in perceptive analysis of rpg topics that might interest any gamer. Their distinct personalities harmoniously work well together and produce lively, humorous dialogue. Ultimately though it's the seeds of creativity that they plant in the listeners mind that makes these podcasts so worthwhile.

The best gaming podcast out there

In which two of the most experienced and authors and game designers in the roleplaying gaming business talk about how they design and run their games. There's also plenty of thought provoking additional content. Ken has a regular slot "Ken's Time Machine' in which he describes how he'd right one of history's terrible wrongs, while Robin keeps us up to date with the wacky goings on in Torronto's fantastical world of municipal politics. There are plenty of other regular topics so every episode has a different variety of subject matter, all of it delivered with wit, humour and insight. Of all the podcasts I subscribe to, this is the one I check first for new episodes.

Intelligent, knowledgeable, and useful

Ken and Robin do a great job of providing a podcast that’s of interest not only to role-players, but perhaps also writers, those with an interest in history, etc. Various segments are in the rotation - history, food, gaming, writing, films, etc. Ken’s research in particular is always above and beyond what would be expected from a weekly podcast, and Robin’s gaming contributions are as valuable to GMs and game designers as one would expect from a luminary like him!
