A money podcast thats informative and entertaining - who would have thought that it was possible?!!

This is a light and entertaining money podcast that will help you with your money matters. Most of the podcasts are great and love the relationship between the two guys. Its relaxed and easy to listen to. Felt a few of the episodes could have done with a bit more research/planning though (had to drop a star for that) - Dont try to churn out too much content and let the quality drop guys. That said 90% are great. As a uk listener would love to hear from uk experts. This is a very US based show but other listeners can still get something out of the show. Just not as much as our American cousins. Great job guys. Thanks for working towards helping people improve their lives.

Great Intro to Personal Finance 💰

If you’ve struggled with money or have been taught bad money habits by your parents, this is the podcast for you. I’m 22 years old and have learnt more from this podcast in three months than I did anywhere else in my entire life. Money is a topic that is often taboo to talk about but the lack of conversation leaves most people under educated until it’s too late. One thing this podcast has really driven home for me is the importance of saving and good credit. Yes, it might not be the most in depth guide with every detail of every topic fleshed out but the hosts Matt and Andrew are charismatic and seem like a group of friends I would love to hang around with and talk about money; which is why I label LMM a great “intro” to personal finance. Your journey won’t end here but it will certainly push you into the right direction! 5/5

Insightful but...

Beyond the fact that every other episode is basically a very on-the-nose endorsement and advertisement of the Mint app, my issue is that they don’t go into specifics.

For example, the budgeting episode was basically an apology to Mint, but by relying so heavily on the automatic functions the app offers, they never really get into the internal organization a budget must have, nor do they analyze the internal logic of a budget. By not addressing the different components (and alternative) of a budget, it’s hard for listeners to actually modify, design or envision their one personal budget.

And btw, we get: you guys use Mint all the time, every morning. Let’s move on.
