Description

Literary Friction is a monthly conversation about books and ideas. Hosts Carrie and Octavia interview up-and-coming and established authors, and each show is built around a theme - anything from breakfast to coastlines to corpses. Listen in for lively discussion, book recommendations and a little music to boot.

More please

There are very few worthwhile Literary podcasts/radio shows, especially UK based. Literary Friction is a marvel and really showcases the rude health of writing at the moment. For me, it's second only to LA based, quarter of a century and still going, Bookworm. I'd love to see future guests from Ireland (Rob Doyle, Colin Barrett, Claire Louise-Bennett) or further afar. Turned me onto Zoe Pilger who I'd love to listen to again. My main complaint is there isn't enough. Music's great too.

love it

Listening on the go makes my commute a pleasure not a chore. More more more!

SUPER GOOD.

Love it - one of the best literature podcasts in the game - yet to hear a bad episode.
