Not what is used to be

I feel that a lot of the passion and engry I used ot love about this show has gone. The episode featuring Dyatlov Pass has been covered in a great more detail on other podcasts which made the subject matter more interesting.

I am not saying the show is bad, it is still one of the best produced podcasts I listen to. I just feel that it is no longer as gripping as it used to be. I would like the format to be broken once every so often and have a 2 part show or possibly and hour long episode?

Loosing its magic

When I first started listening to this podcast, I was obsessed. I listened to nearly all episodes in a couple of weeks. Aaron's story telling was magical and I couldn't wait for new episodes to be released.

However the most recent episodes feel rushed and as though a computer is reading them out, which is really disappointing.

I feel the new episodes have lost what made this podcast special and can no longer listen. Please please go back to the original production!!!

Scary, oh so scary

I have a spooky story habit. Lore is one of the ways I feed it. Aaron Mahnke is a writer and it shows - the podcast flows well, sounds great to the ear, and delivers the twists, the frights and the shivers at just the right moment.

The production values are high. The sound quality is excellent, the narration is clear, and the music varied and atmospheric. And I've encountered 3 or 4 spooky incidents in the first 5 episodes that I've not heard of before.

This podcast is fresh and new. Aaron's matter of fact, understated narration style is something most podcasters who do paranormal stories would do well to emulate. The content speaks for itself. Bombast isn't necessary.
