BANANAS

This podcast consistently blows my mind. Nosaj Thing, Daedalus, Samiyam.. WTF! Can't wait to see what the future holds for this podcast. Highly highly recommended - my favorite podcast alongside ST.

L.A.s finest

This is one of the few podcasts I can listen to month in month out and consistently get something that makes my highlights list. With such a high standard set by a group of residents to make you drool, the guest mixes tend to come second in terms of quality. But even at that there are some real highlights (Nosaj Thing and Mono/Poly in particular). This is a valuable 30 minutes in your monthly updates. Just one major gripe - I can't stand the secret set-list BS. It's my number one pet hate about hip-hop mixes and it seems to have crossed over on to this. But don't let that put you off the finished product.

Essential

If you only have one podcast on your pod, this should be it! A blend of Dubstep, Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, IDM, Psych you name it, they spin it! The resident artists from LET are some of the most diverse, interesting, unique jockeys I've ever listened to. It's not just their DJ skills and sectretive selection of beats they throw down, it's their production too. If you like this then check out these labels: Hyperdub, Brainfeeder, Hit and Run and not forgetting Stonesthrow Records. These labels changed my outlook on music entirly. So you best be diggin'!
