Well-informed and considered ever-growing archive

The Lunar Poetry Podcast is an ever-evolving archive of discussions, founded on well-considered ideas and a very important wish for comprehensive coverage of many different writers, publishers and promoters currently working in and for poetry, as well as those who have come and gone. It features a growing base of dynamic hosts, who aim always to provide a platform for guests to tell their own narratives. It shows its development beautifully over the course of its expansion, but also holds something for most people in the case of one-off listens. The incredible amount of hard work behind it shines through and I recommend you start listening.

Lunar Poetry Podacasts

Lunar Poetry podcasts are an amazingly unique worldwide audience access point for a wide spectrum of poetic forms and poets, the vast majority of whom would never get such a vast hearing, or such an opportunity to express their driving forces. David Turner and Lizzy Turner are insightful, relaxing and have a wonderful ability to interview their guests, allowing them to tease out so much more than one could expect. The coverage of their work and guests is unexpectedly vast - virtually worldwide and they are always seeking out new areas, as well as, and perhaps most importantly, making Poetry more accessible to wider audiences, particularly audiences who under normal circumstances would not consider themselves "poetic". Look out for David's other inspired productions and ideas too.

Fabulous podacst

I love these podcasts. David has such an amazing, easy going interviewer that means he is able to coax absolute nuggets of joy out of the interviewees. These are rich in content and the subject matter is s varied that each time you learn something new about the craft of poetry and the poets involved. Two of the podcasts I have been most moved by are the ones on accessibility and how disabled poets are finding their way in what can sometimes be a scene filled with physical barriers. These are beautifully done and tackles a subject often ignored and not spoken about. David and Lizzy deserves huge credit for helping people to say the unspoken and I cannot recommend these podcasts enough.
