If you look back throughout history, the narrative around black hair has always included a lot of negative language such as 'unmanageable', or 'nappy'. Twice a month, join Lynda Moyo and Claire Quansah as they talk openly about Afro hair and the decisions and choices black and mixed race women make about their hair on a daily basis. Whether you rock natural or relaxed hair, box braids, cornrows, wigs or weaves, regardless of your hairstyle, texture, length, or preference, this podcast opens up the conversation on hair and blackness in the modern day.

Such easy listening

Really easy to listen to and enjoying Lynda and Claire’s conversations

I can’t believe it has taken this long for someone to do this and boy haven’t they done it well. Everyone (no matter what race) needs to listen to this to educate themselves.

Didn’t know I needed this until I heard it

If you care about your hair and it is in anyway Afro (and even an if its not) this podcast is a great listen. Claire and Lynda do a great job of making each subject feel personal without forgetting the political aspects of black hair, all while make sure its a fun listen. Highly recommended.
