A surprisingly excellent podcast
I tend to think Nick Hornby is really over-rated as an author, and have given up on his books on several occasions. However - I really like his taste in music, so it was for this reason I decided to give the podcast a listen. And I'm really pleased I did. Hornby interviews really well - he comes over as an intelligent, decent character, who has achieved a lot of good through his fame as a writer. What's more, he cares passionately about music, and this comes over really strongly in the podcast. Another bonus - the interview is conducted by someone who is good at the craft of asking questions and allowing the person space to give interesting answers. A great listen - and the start of a promising new podcast series about authors. Have subscribed already!
dear chumps, chumpettes, pips and pipettes i would like to announce the arrival of a truly brilliant podcast about an author. This young man has struggled many a time in life and, although deaf in one ear, wrote a book that was amazin..
I really like this podcast, i've just started the book, royal command and it's reallly helpful! Thanks iTunes and Charlie Higson!!
