Inspiring Stuff!

There's no limit to what these chaps will discuss. It could be a Disney blockbuster as easily as a little seen Italian movie from the sixties and despite being very well educated in films across all genres, these guys never veer off into the dry academia. Instead what you get is a very relaxed conversation between two old friends who have an evident passion for their subject that's downright infectious.
Over the last few years Lee & Michael have been responsible for my own collection reappraisals with a better appreciation (and through the soundtrack specials made me listen more intently too). It's a brilliant guide to movies I would never have considered viewing and long may they keep up the fine work.

It Matters

Reasoned yet passionate and always articulate, these intelligent movie critiques thankfully also never lose sight of being entertaining. Movie Matters contains enough variety, warmth and knowledge to fully justify its five stars. Good work gentlemen.

A great film podcast

Movie Matters Podcast is a great film podcast, particularly when the hosts get stuck into a giallo or during the excellent soundtrack episodes. The hosts are genial and knowledgeable; the production of the podcast is good and the tangents are kept to an entertaining minimum. The podcast may not keep to a solid release schedule, but when it arrives it is one of the best film podcasts going. Top recommend.
