Description

The Guardian's Music podcast is our irregular but ever excellent look at music culture. The latest in this series is the Brasil Music Exchange - bringing you the freshest music from Brazil emerging artists. Plus the podcast version of our live radio shows on NTS, The Guardian Radio Hour. Each week a special guest joined the Guardian’s  Kate Hutchinson to discuss a musical theme, from Neneh Cherry on her journey from jazz to punk, to Stewart Lee’s survey of music and stand-up comedy. It’s very Guardian

Best on the Net

Best music related podcast on the net. I never miss one. It really does inform me on what to and what not to buy, without being NME style pushy. Amazing considering how poor Alexis' pieces in GQ are!

Pompous, sneery and purile

I persevered with this podcast for several weeks hoping it would improve, it didn’t! If you want to hear two twenty something upper class women and a grumpy middle aged man sing the praises of insipid electronic dance music week after week, this is the show for you, everyone else look elsewhere.
