||CleanNC #667 August Smart Lock, LIZN Hearpieces, Focos, Wagz Smart Collar, MirraViz, GE Connected Lighting, Security Bits||It's another action-packed episode this week. I'll start by telling you about the August Smart Lock Pro and how Steve and I got prepared psychologically for such a scary idea. Then we'll hear a CES interview about the LIZN Wireless Hearpieces, Bluetooth headphones that could improve your hearing. Then we'll head back to CES to hear about the Wagz Smart Pet Collar. If you've ever wanted to sit with someone but watch something completely different from them on TV, you'll be interested in our CES interview about the MirraViz Multiview Displays. Everything has to be smart these days, and GE tells us how their Connected Lighting products fulfill that dream. As if that wasn't enough goodness, we have Bart back with another great Security Bits segment.||18 2 2018||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanNC #666 HomePod Surprises, Fortem Radar, OWC Thunderbolt 3, Guardzilla Security Cam, Belkin Valet, Nite Ize||The show isn't too long this week, but it's action packed. We'll start with a conversation about what surprised Steve and me about HomePod. Then we've got Steve in front of the microphone (and camera) with an interview from CES with Fortem about their Drone Killing radar. I've got an interview with OWC at CES about their wicked fast Thunderbolt 3 Storage and their docks. Then I'll tell you about how we finally broke down and installed a smart lock - the August Smart Lock Pro + Connect. Back to CES and we'll talk to Guardzilla with their 360 security camera. We'll wind up the show with a review of the Belkin Valet Power Pack that charges both your iPhone and your Apple Watch with a built-in Apple Watch charger puck.||11 2 2018||Free||View in iTunes|
Give it a listen - you won't regret it
Engaging, chatty, down-to-earth, sometimes immensely funny but always incisive, Allison Sheridan's podcast, the Nosillacast, is highly recommendable to anyone who is interested in tech in general and the Applesphere in particular.
Variety is assured with gadget and app reviews, security tips, problem solving, accessibility apps/tips/features, and interviews with knowledgeable guests.
Allison knows how to pick things apart to present a comprehensive, in-depth view of whatever she tackles.
Do yourself a favour; give it a listen (for a couple of episodes, at least) and subscribe if you like it. I'm sure you will.
After all these years . . .
I’m still enjoying the ‘podcast with an ever so slight macintosh bias’!
A must for any tech geek
I have listened to this show since the very 1st episode, well maybe the 2nd I can’t remember that far back. This is a fantastic Podcast and a must for any Tech enthusiast with a slight Macintosh bias. There are a few regulars including Chit Chat across the pod with Bart Busschots which is great. Keep up the good work and sorry it’s taken so long to leave feedback.
