A good risk!

Great stories - honest and often surprising and funny. Listen to this.

Honest, none judgemental, personal and powerful

Risk is a great podcast. An average show is a collection of true stories, songs and soundscapes collected around a theme. It's presented by Kevin Allison who has a personal relationship with the audience, he is open and revealing and presents us a person. And like any person he can be annoying and he can be wonderful. Podcasts are a personal medium. This is one of their strengths.

In the Extra Risk episodes stories are developed, highlighted and expanded.

But episode types are strong.

I thoroughly reject other reviewers statements about the show. It isn't amoral it is non-judgemental. The soundscapes and songs may be for many hit and miss but they aren't long and they are varied. They aren't always avaunt guarde, they compromise many styles and a strong part of the show.

Risk is, as it's name suggests, a show that takes risks. I applaud that. I wish we had more shows that take risks. It has a DIY feel, but is also really well produced, it has stories that will stay with you. I really strongly recommend it.

Today is the day. Take a risk.
