Brilliant RPG Podcast

The heart of this brilliant rpg podcast is the idea of sharing gaming ideas with and from the family, but there is plenty here for everyone and really the main theme that comes across is the exciting narrative potential of gaming. There's a really nice balance of interviews, hints & tips, family gaming, nostalgia for old school gaming and actual play podcasts, with some awesome music to accompany it all. Can't wait to hear more.

Great Podcast For Gamers

I just discovered this new podcast and it is brilliant. It has totally inspired me to start gaming with my kids and it is also overflowing with great stuff for grown-up gamers. The interviews about different RPG systems are in-depth and interesting. The Actual Play segments are full of excellent roleplaying and hilarious moments. The whole family are particularly good at improvising - they are very quick and very witty. I heartily recommend that you subscribe right now!

A great RPG magazine format

I’ve been off work today so have had the opportunity to listen to RPG podcasts. I hit this one and was hooked! The story dice sequences are the unique selling point, but for me, it is the quality of the interviews that make this ‘stand out’. RPG Dad has an infectious enthusiasm that brings out the best in his subjects, whether its the RPG Academy or Dave Harrison (the UK’s Wayfarer for Pathfinder), they engage in a really illuminating manner. I’ve never played Pathfinder but after listening to the Harrison interview and the game play, I’m tempted. Great work, keep it up!
