Brilliant

Still my favourite podcast after all this time - keep up the great work guys! Love how you can relate the material to issues today and you always find such good sources.

Great fun!

This saucy saunter through the Tudor period is a million miles away from your memories of school history lessons. But as you strain to remember which of King Henry VIII’s wives were beheaded, divorced, died or survived might I heartily recommend that you cast off your inhibitions, throw a chicken leg over your shoulder and listen to this podcast? Far from being audible frippery it’s naughtiness nestles nicely on a bed of surprisingly good scholarly research. Information and titivation thus coexist is a world of historical harmony where the Tudor might be ruder but it’s rarely less than fascinating. Basically it’s great fun and Liz and Nicole succeed in offering up a refreshingly different approach to an often stuffy subject.
