Bolted to Your Brain - Carpet Dweller Megamix (8 Aug. 2012)

I hate the heat. I hate being sticky and sweaty (without having earned either of those sensations.) Essentially, to beat the freakin' heat, I've put together this little throbbing number that winds its way through a few styles, but always with some buzzing, chugging, clunking aspects to push the works along...until Bob Seger shows us and tries to ruin the show. (Don't worry, he's put in his place...)

When the ROBOT OVERLORDS rise, we must all be prepared for the After-Domination-Party! Way in My Brain - Carpet Dweller Megamix (6 July 2012)

Starting with my favorite ragga-tinged techno band, SL2, this mix moves on into the worlds of electro bleeps, new wave paranoia, and some frisky dance moments...and, of course, a Pixies cover by some robot guy that could probably kill you with one lazer-eyed look! As it should be...

    Inna Loggin Town

    Inna Loggin Town

Inna Loggin Town - Carpet Dweller Megamix (29 June 2012)

Growing up and living for most of my life in a logging town was tough for somebody like me. My Dad worked for a famous tree chopping company (in the pulp and paper mill), and after the divorce my Mom learned to drive trucks for construction. The local scene, although spiced with skater punks, metal fiends, and plenty of GRUNGENIKS, didn't really cater much to MY taste. I like electronic sounds. I blame STAR WARS and TRON for getting me hooked on laser noise, robot sounds, and the future.

That brings us to this mix. What you are about to hear, created under the name of one of my many alter-egos, is a bunch of techno, electro, industrial, future funk, continuously mixed into a slab of about 40 minutes in length. I'm not particularly interested in playing the newest and the flashiest of hits, nor am I stuck firmly in the new wave and progressive dance of the 80s that I cut my dance-club-teeth on. I'm an absolute believer in grinding gears, in making the next track be a surprise, even a shock, and giving the listener an experience as unlike modern radio and genre restrictive clubs as possible. If you've got the nerve, and like to hear music that the robots who eventually take over the world will undoubtedly one day call ROBOCLASSICAL, then step right up and take the ride!!!

---Inna Loggin Town - Carpet Dweller Megamix (29 June 2012)

The Shins - "Sea Legs (Kissy Klub Version)"
Snog - "Lost at Sea (The Calculators Remix)"

Method Man - "Lifted (Crizzly Dubstep Remix)"
    Uberzone - "Beat Bionic"
Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit (Divide & Kreate Remix)"
Golden Bug - "Last Dance in Tokyo"
    MC Chris - "IG-88's 57 Chevy"
    The Diceman - "Supervisor Error"
Hurricane Chris - "Hand Clap (Mr. Clucks Cedargroove Remix)"
Empire of the Sun - "Swordfish Hotkiss Night (Eron Mezza Remix)"
Wire - "I am the Fly"
