Absolutely brilliant!!

I found this podcast on the USA ITunes website and subscibed after reading the positive reviews. Can I just say that I love literature and listening to BJ Harrison as he narrates the stories is an absolute joy. His voice is wonderful and is suited to the podcast and the tales he reads. Really, words fail me. I urge everyone who reads this to download one episode and they will not be disappointed at all. If you love Edgar Allen Poe, H.G. Wells, Arthur Conan Doyle and other writers that you have or haven't heard off, you will love this.

Very, Very Good

Amateur in the best sense - i.e. a work of love rather than duty - this podcast provides full, unabridged readings of classic work, read with emphatic competence. In the increasingly broad world of free talking books, this is particular recommended.

Simply amazing

B. J Harrison has such a style with his reading, he puts so much energy and intelligence into it. He has a great range of voices for the various characters, and they are always well acted. Particularly good is his 'mysterious man' type voice, evident on the faultless episode 5 -Rappaccinis Daughter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and his voice of a man in fear such as the brilliant reading of episode 8 - The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar Allan Poe. Thanks B. J for all the hard work and expertise you have put into these readings, and for making them freely available.
