Brilliant resource for budding writers
Joanna Penn has developed a very interesting and informative podcast for budding authors in which she really digs into the process of writing through great interviews with established authors and others in the industry. As a huge bonus her personality shines through to keep you thoroughly engaged and entertained which is a refreshing change to some other good but often dreary podcasts. She is also very helpful as I found when i had a question and got a great answer back straight away - highly recommended!
The Best Podcast for Writers on iTunes
I have been following Joanna Penn since she started this podcast and she is a delight to listen to. Her podcasts are informative and useful, and she has helped me so much on the road to publication for my new book. So many podcasts just use the air time as one long advertisement, but Joanna is engaging from the start and I love her enthusiasm. Joanna if you read this thank you so much, and please keep going with the podcasts.
Still the best podcast for (Indie) authors
This podcast continues to deliver great interviews and interesting content. Joanna always shares her own experiences and is honest when things don't always go to plan.
She is a fantastic interviewer, managing to get the best from a guest, with insightful questions and not just dialling it in. She also lets her guests speak and it's clearly driven by her knowledge to learn, but she doesn't flog her own stuff to death (unlike one or two other podcasts). Yes, it's there, but it's not in your face!
This podcast has evolved to move away from catering to new Indie authors and is now firmly aimed at the more experienced Indie authors. Earlier podcasts are on her blog and are worth listening to as well.
