I started listening to The Guilty Feminist because I saw Sofie on Richard Herring's RHLSTP and loved her and then realised I had loved Deborah's Radio 4 programme as well. I was expecting the humour but not to learn so much about women's experiences. I have a lot of female feminist friends so thought I was fairly up to speed but have been gobsmacked by some of the things talked about on TGF. As well as being funny, you are helping me to (hopefully) empower my daughters.
ps. I have never cried during a fist fight although once had an emotional experience whilst gardening (dead heading is brutal).

5 stars because Sofie said so

Absolutely inspiring and sidesplittingly funny

It's not often I'm made late for work because I'm laughing. But Deborah Frances-White and Sofie Hagen have managed it. I'm currently up to date and have listened to the first two episodes and have been challenged with my own feminism, I've empathised, audibly groaned in recognition and, potentially, most importantly, I've laughed. It's bloody funny. I feel like I'm having a chat with two friends, even when I'm not even talking back. This is a podcast for anyone who likes laughing and is questioning why they do the things they do. Man or woman. Do yourselves a favour. God knows we need one.
